For a long time I have been interested in the light and atmosphere of rivers near where I live and which fascinate me. Due to different water levels and lighting situations, the same places never look the same. In order to condense the atmosphere in the photograph somewhat, I try to use double exposures, sometimes with different levels of sharpness, to emphasise structures in the picture and to soften other parts that perhaps do not contribute to my idea. Sometimes I merge the layers in digital post-processing. My camera also has a double exposure function, so I can do the double exposure directly.
